With over 176,000 customers, 25 modern branches and over 75 Agents spread across eight regions of Ghana, First Allied has maintained its footprints as a force to reckon with in the savings and loans industry.

In line with the institution’s commitment to provide excellent financial services to the micro and small enterprise sector, Senior Management members held a retreat to brainstorm and strategize on how best they can better serve the bank’s cherished customers. The session reviewed the institution’s performance over the previous years and formulated strategies to grow its customer base, enhance customer value and retain customer loyalty in the face of growing competition.

The session, which came off at the Golden Bean Hotel in Kumasi on the 18th and 19th of February 2016, brought together all the bank’s Managers from across the country. The Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Edward Nii Lamptey, shared with members the Institution’s medium term strategic vision targeted to be achieved before the celebration of the Bank’s Silver Jubilee in 2021.

He underscored the desire to create a very strong financial institution that is able to compete with any bank in the world, Create a market-led and customer-focused institution, Create and control large financial reserves to serve First Allied’s needs and to lend to other financial institutions.

He said the institution is on course to become a reference point as a highly successful Ghanaian company and a household name in every corner of Ghana with the introduction of the Allied Agency Model.

Following the successful pilot of the Allied Agency model and other innovative products introduced by the company, First Allied received the Platinum Technology Award for Quality & Best Trade Name – Italy in 2015. In November the same year, the company was selected for a Global Case Study on Customer Eccentricity by the Africa Board Fellowship.

He expressed excitement and thanked the team for their relentless effort which has so far led to the manifestation of some of these visions almost five years ahead of 2021.

A Guest Speaker at the session, Dr. Emmanuel Dei Tumi, a renowned Motivational Speaker and the Chief Executive Officer of Foundation For Future Leaders challenged the Managers to lead by example and influence the attitude of their subordinates by their conduct.
